What reviewers say
ArcGIS Story Maps is an effective and intuitive location-based storytelling application
“This application can be configured through ArcGIS online and the ArcGIS Enterprise platforms. It helps the users to create and share contextual information with geospatial references in a visually appealing manner via dynamic web interfaces and various multimedia content. Complex”
ArcGIS Story Maps Review
“The thing that we do most in a story map is an interactive map of the whole world where we can do changes as we design every detail of it. As with multimedia content, like pictures, audio, and video tools.”
Slippy Maps done Nicely if you can afford an ArcGIS Online account
“ArcGIS Story Maps are one of the better features of ArcGIS Online. Essentially they allow you to easily create a single appealing flowing webpage with a series of "Slippy maps" interwoven with text and other media.”
