Video Recording in Wistia (formerly Soapbox) vs. Descript

Show your work. Wistia Record is a super snappy way to communicate at work without sacrificing polish. Record the walkthrough, the quick update, or the “here’s how this works” in a few minutes, clean it up in a few clicks, and send something people actually want to watch. Download Wistia Record for Mac and you’re rolling in seconds, with no browser tab to find. Record your screen, your camera, or both. Then clean it up right in the app. Trim the start, zoom in on what matters, make your cursor easy to follow, and let AI tidy up your audio.

In Descript you can make any video you want, any way you want. All you need is an idea; it helps if you know how to type. With the world’s first only AI co-editor, Underlord, you can make a video just by describing your vision. It will create, edit, and design your video—all under your direction. It’s got the taste and judgment you want in a creative partner and the expertise you need from a video editor. And it’s tireless—so you can stay focused on getting the result you’re after while it does all the dirty work. And when you want to get dirty, you don’t need special knowledge or skills.
