Kubermatic Kubernetes Platform vs. Akamai Cloud Computing

Kubermatic Kubernetes Platform (KKP) is an open-source platform for managing containers across on-prem, multi-cloud, and edge environments. KKP delivers an intuitive Kubernetes self-service portal so development teams can reliably build and deploy their services everywhere while operators keep isolation and control.

Akamai Cloud Computing is a platform and broad set of distributed cloud and edge computing services to help businesses build, deploy, and manage applications and workloads on the world’s most distributed network. Akamai’s distributed cloud computing platform is designed for developers and built by developers. The platform empowers developers to build apps and APIs using open standards designed to maximize portability and avoid lock-in. With core, distributed, and edge services, developers can choose where to deploy and scale compute, data, and security services, based on business needs.
