Globalscape vs. EZ File Drop

Fortra’s Globalscape EFT is a sophisticated Managed File Transfer (MFT) solution built to facilitate the secure, efficient, and automated movement of business-critical or sensitive data within Windows-centric enterprises. The platform is tailored for organizations prioritizing reliability and control in their data transfer processes, with flexible deployment options. By replacing legacy scripts with an intuitive, script-less automation framework, Globalscape EFT significantly reduces manual intervention while ensuring military-grade security for every file transfer.

EZ File Drop creates branded upload forms that deliver files into your own cloud storage: Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, SharePoint, Box, or FTP/SFTP. It exists because collecting files from people outside your organization is harder than it should be. Email attachments bounce on size limits. Shared folders expose everything in them to everyone with the link. Most file transfer tools make the person sending you files create an account before they can help you. With EZ File Drop, people open your link, drop in their files, and they're done. No account, no app, no sign-in.
