AWS Shield is a managed Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection service that safeguards web applications running on AWS. AWS Shield provides always-on detection and automatic inline mitigations that minimize application downtime and latency.

Radware DefensePro X is a perimeter attack mitigation appliance, available as a physical or virtual device, that detects and mitigates DDoS attacks, IoT botnet floods, and application vulnerability exploitation. It uses behavioral-based detection and machine learning algorithms to defend against known and zero-day attacks, including burst attacks, DNS amplification, and carpet bombing, without requiring manual configuration during an attack. It automatically generates mitigation signatures in real time.
